In the following series of articles, we will explore one of the most perilous aspects of church business, renting the church building.
While it may seem an obvious benefit to the church to rent their space for any funds they can get, churches often end up subsidizing the very entities from which they think they are profiting. I have literally seen churches rent themselves into bankruptcy with no clue as to what was happening or how to stop it.
